The Greece map is indicative of the problems of the geography and modern financial instability of the country. Due to the mountains and Corinth's canal, the map is fairly expensive. On top of the rough terrain, due to the financial crisis, investments become more and more difficult as players have to pay more and more interest on their shares.
Cyclades is a strange expansions for Age of Steam as there are no hexes on the map! Players connect islands with their discs on the edges or intersection of squares. Urbanization allows players to create new islands within the archipelago.
