Description
In this two player card game you lay siege to your opponent’s castle with a strategic mix of tactical insight and skillful bluffing. Luck is a minor factor in battle. By cleverly choosing when to go on the offensive with your knights, and by spending gold on special units like vassals, bishops or catapults, you gain the upper hand in this strategic card battle between two medieval lords.

Players take turns after each other. During your turn, you are the attacking player. To attack your opponent’s Castle die, you must send your Knights out on the field of battle. Knight cards have either 1, 2 or 3 attack points. To attack, choose up to four cards from your hand and place them face down in front of you.

The defending player may then choose to defend his Castle. He selects and places up to four cards from his hand face down in front of him.

The attacking player flips his Knight cards over, followed by the defending player. The player who has the most combined attack points wins.

Both the attacking and defending player can use special cards to turn the tide. Most of these cards cost Gold cards to use. The Vassal card doubles the combined attack points of your Knight Cards, the Bishop card lets you steal your opponent’s strongest Knight card, the Catapult deals damage directly and the Feint card lets you temporarily remove your opponent’s strongest Knight card.
