This full color, mounted-on-gameboard Age of Steam expansion contains two maps with three different expansions containing unique twists on Age of Steam, including a double-map tour-de-force expansion with comprehensive modifications and the ability to play up to 8 players in a single game!

Gameboards mounted
These maps are mounted on gameboard just like the Warfrog maps; produced by the same company that created the basic Age of Steam "Great Lakes" map and the Warfrog expansion maps. It folds so it will fit perfectly in your Age of Steam box.

Vermont:
This Age of Steam expansion takes place in the rural forests of Vermont, where the rugged terrain and drastic seasonal changes make railroad building very expensive...but also very lucrative.
This map contains the following special features:

Seasonal Changes: Every other turn (Winter), track is more expensive. On those turns, however, you'll get a bonus income for each delivery you make.
Unused Action Bonus: Any unused actions receive money, which keeps piling up until someone uses that action.
Players: 3-5
Optimal number of players: 4

New Hampshire:
Right next door to Vermont, the New Hampshire Age of Steam expansion features strict anti-competitive measures that ensure there's no collusion amongst players.
This map contains the following special features:
Unique Track Builds: Track builds can not be duplicated; once a player has built a section of track between two locations, no one else can build that same connection.
No Track Sharing: Players must deliver goods across their own track only.
Players: 3-6
Optimal number of players: 5

Central New England*:
The biggest expansion ever created for Age of Steam, Central New England plays up to eight players simultaneously and uses all the rules from Vermont and New Hampshire in addition to a few new rules specifically for this combination map:
Crossing State Lines: All goods must be delivered across state lines.
Smuggle: This action allows players to secretly deliver within the same state.
Support for 7 & 8 players: Up to eight players may play at the same time (requires additional track/scoring markers, not included).
Players: 5-8
Optimal number of players: 7 *Central New England requires two copies of this expansion to play, as both sides of the board are used simultaneously.

Note: All of the standard rules for Age of Steam 2nd Edition apply to these expansions unless where stated in the rules, and all the components from that game are required to play these maps.
