A Campaign System for Battleground Fantasy Warfare

Battleground Kingdoms combines scenario cards, map cards and special situations to challenge you with countless unique battles. Whether you use the full campaign system or the scenario generator for one time battle, Battleground: Kingdoms will present you with new tactical and strategic decisions every game.

Note: This expansion requires one or more of the original Battleground Fantasy Warfare packs.

When playing a campaign, each player controls the fate of a kingdom: he will receive gold each round, which he will then use to purchase resources that improve his ability to make war. He will win Victory Points (VPs) in battles, which are fought using Battleground: Fantasy Warfare. The winner of the campaign will be the player that best combines prowess on the battlefield with shrewd management of his treasury.

The maps of Battleground: Kingdoms have been designed so that in any given round, all of the battlefields can be made using terrain from a single Battleground: Fantasy Warfare Terrain Pack. If you do not have a Terrain Pack, you can represent terrain using felt or construction paper.
