“Living Labyrinth” is a fun, light hearted race through an ever-changing maze of garden tiles. Players hurry to be the first to cross the maze and reach their goal, all the while moving pathways, changing the maze, and even moving the victory goals. Should you race ahead at full speed? Should you delay to spend precious time cutting off your fellow players? Only one player will succeed and escape the Living Labyrinth!
With rules that can be taught in less than five minutes, “Living Labyrinth” is an ideal game for families and children of all ages. The action cards give players a handful of simple tactical options, and the double-sided tiles ensure that the maze is never the same twice. Each turn is easy and fast—but strategic—making “Living Labyrinth” a great board game to teach new and young players. “Living Labyrinth” also gives them a fast introduction to strategy in a fun, colorful package.
Finish a game in fifteen minutes, and then play again and again for the whole evening. Each game is different, with new mazes, new cards, and new strategies. Don’t expect the same plan to work in every game, because the ground under your feet is ever-changing!
How to Play
Shuffle the 25 game tiles and spread them out in a 5x5 grid, adding the Goal tiles to the edges of the board. Each player takes a character pawn and places it on the opposite side of the maze from their colored Goal. The first player to get to their own goal wins!
On your turn, follow these steps:
1. You can play 1 Action Card.
2. You must move one space along an open path, even if the only possible move is backwards.
3. If you did not play an Action Card in step 1, you can play up to 2 Action Cards.
4. Draw cards from the Action Card deck until you have 4 cards in your hand.
• A mind-bending game enjoyed by puzzle and strategy game fans alike.
• For up to 4 players, it is a great introduction to board games, as new gamers of any age can learn to play and enjoy the game.
• Unlimited re-playability, with endless combinations of paths, turns, twists, and treachery.
