This expansion includes 2 new map boards, 210 counters, a firefight/campaign book, and a rules sheet covering cavalry and other special Polish, German, and Soviet units.

This is not a stand alone game, but is an expansion for Awakening the Bear and Storms of Steel. Only one of the earlier two sets is needed to use this expansion.

Most of the firefights use the counters and boards supplied with the expansion, but there are also firefights that utilize boards from AtB and/or SoS.
